incorporation of Guangzhou Yuexiu Exhibition Co., Ltd. was greatly
valued by various social sectors, all of which voiced their support.
Over 500 people, including leaders of the government, Yuexiu Group
and YI-WU Company, foreign friends and representatives of many
enterprises, attended the cocktail party celebrating the incorporation
held in China Hotel on October 26, 2002 to express their congratulations.
The leaders present at the party included Zhang Guangning, the
then deputy mayor of Guangzhou, Chen Jinde, deputy secretary general
of Guangzhou Municipal Government, Liu Kuangyuan and Shao Jianzhong,
deputy commissioners of Guangzhou, Wang Xiaoling, secretary of
Guangzhou Administration of Industry and Commerce, Pan Qingchu,
vice chairman of the Standing Committee of Guangzhou People’s
Congress, Shi Anhai, vice chairman of the People’s Political Consultative
Conference of Guangdong Province, Liu Dongsheng, deputy director
of Guangzhou Bureau of Foreign Economy, Xiang Dongshen, secretary
of the Party Committee of Yuexiu District, Lu Ou, deputy head
of Yuexiu District, Liu Jinxiang, board chairman of Yuexiu Group,
Zeng Qingshen, former chairman of the Standing Committee of Guangzhou
People’s Congress, Lei Yu, former vice chairman of Guangzhou Autonomous
Region, Yang Ziyuan, former mayor of Guangzhou and Liu Zhiben,
deputy director of the Association of Enterprises with Foreign
Investment. Deputy Mayor Zhuang Guangning and Board Chairman Liu
Jinxiang unveiled the signboard of the company together. Chen
Jinde, deputy secretary general of Guangzhou Municipal Government,
delivered a speech full of warm feelings. China Association of
